❗️Unknown ballet companies touring Europe with The Nutcracker and Swan Lake have nothing to do with the National Opera of Ukraine
Dear friends, attention!
With the approach of the New Year and Christmas holidays, the cases of announcing the performances of ballet companies in European countries with traditional performances of P. Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" and "Swan Lake" have become more frequent.
Some troupes deliberately disguise themselves as the brand of the National Opera of Ukraine, using similar names such as Das Nationalballett Kiew, Ballet de Kiev, Kiew Grand Ballett, Kyiv City Ballet, Nasjonalballetten fra Kyiv, Ukraine Classic Ballet etc.
We consider it necessary to state: these dubious groups have nothing to do with the National Opera of Ukraine.
Our position - extraction from our current repertoire of works by Russian composers - is fundamental, and we strictly adhere to it.
З наближенням новорічно-різдвяних свят почастішали випадки анонсування виступів балетних труп в країнах Європи з традиційними показами вистав П. Чайковського “Лускунчик” та “Лебедине озеро".
Деякі з труп свідомо маскуються під бренд Національної опери України, використовуючи співзвучні назви на кшталт Das Nationalballett Kiew, Ballet de Kiev, Kiew Grand Ballett, Kyiv City Ballet, Nasjonalballetten fra Kyiv, Ukraine Classic Ballet. тощо.
Вважаємо за необхідне категорично заявити: ці сумнівні колективи не мають жодного відношення до Національної опери України.
Наша позиція - вилучення з поточного репертуару творів російських композиторів - принципова, і ми її неухильно дотримуємося.
